For my faithful blog readers, Steve and I now are going through the fire and need and extra anointing from Jesus. Can't give details, but friends out there, please be faithful and pray, pray, pray!!!!!!! I am feeling pretty BLUE today!

Ok,Erica, you need to tell me how to get my pix to load, because everytime I try it doesn't work. I know I am computer illiterate...but at least I try.

Major praise, LCBC topped over 1,000 on Easter. This is a new record for Lake
Center...this has never in their history ever happened. We definitely were challenged with parking, seating and room altogether. But their are great reports coming in and many praises regarding people's lives being transformed. This has been happening so quickly at LCBC that we have increased by 50 to 100 weekly for the past month and a half. Our staff and a board are thinking and planning in fast forward to accomodate this growth. I am excited to see so many new faces, but I also know this will add to Steve's workload, so our family needs prayer for this.

It is still cold here...I want some signs of spring soon...or I think I am going to go crazy!!!!!

Steve and I left at 9:30am this morning, Friday, to run errand. It was flurring a little!! Now, 3 hours later, we have easily 4 inches of snow on the ground. Is this a big joke?! I have had it. And even more mind-boggling is in a matter of days, people have forgotten how to drive in this stuff...we saw accidents, many cars going way too fast and plain idiocy out there!!! Have a great Easter!!!!

I have had a few people(not many, mind you) ask where I have been. Well, the same old place, with the same old reasons for not blogging. I love to read others' blogs, but when I sit down to write, I draw a blank.

I'll catch everyone up a little...after our trip to Israel, which was absolutely more exciting than I could have expected ( more about that later), we have had a very cold winter here in Michigan and lots of snow. Now I like snow, but we are expecting some tomorrow and as far as I am concerned, it is time for spring. Even my daffodils think so since they are peaking their noses up through the dirt. I really want them to survive because Steve sacrificed to plant over 100 bulbs last year. I will put more in this fall, since they are my most favorite spring flower, but I hope there is a good show this year.

I have also been working on my and Steve's niece, Joyce's, wedding. I am doing her flowers and wedding gown and also making the twins some flower girl dresses. The girls will also be in a wedding the week before Joyce's so that is 4 dresses. December brings another wedding their way. And they hardly ever wear dresses anymore. This should be fun. I or Erica will post pics of them.

I am heavily involved in the Visual Arts team at our church now and it involves a lot time. I could do more if they would hire me...hint,hint, hint. We are growing very rapidly at LCBC with an average of 600 attending each Sunday. Two weeks ago we had 660 and we can't wait until Easter and see what the attendance will be. It's fun to run out of parking and room, but a big challenge...so another service may be in order. That would make 3/weekend...new challenges. Steve is excited to have a great worship team and is gaining new musicians every week as new people come to LCBC. Check out out website lakecenter.org.

I am still working on settling my aunt's estate with the help of my brother who is the attorney. Actually he does all the important stuff, I just do the grunt work!!! That's for you Butch, if you read this!

Steve and I are trying to finish off our basement, but only as we can pay cash for it, so it is a little slow. Next comes the ceiling in the family room and after that will be the bathroom and a little more trim. I am excited to get this done and move all the toys down for the kids. They love to play downstairs and even Micah will now go down the steps safely. He is growing so fast as are the others...boo hoo, I miss those baby days. They are so much fun now tho' as they say the funniest things.

Well, that's a little bit and I hope this post will be the beginning of staying in touch with you. Oh yes, I must say that I am doing a Beth Moore study now and it is one of the best. It makes me once again work hard to understand and absorb God's Word and apply it to my life. I was going through a very dry spell here for awhile...it's good to be thirsty and start to get a good drink.

The diagnosis for the baker's cyst has now developed into a diagnosis for a torn miniscus. Well, that means orthroscopic surgery on my knee. And I suspect I have it on my left knee as well. I may delay this until after the new year because Steve and I have planned a 35th anniversary trip to Israel. Will my knees hold up for all the hiking? Who knows, but having surgery and risking complications or the knee not healing quickly could add other problems. Decisions, decisions, decisions! As my body seems to daily deteriorate, oh yeah, yours is too!!! , what get's "fixed" first?!

I am going to try to post a few pix of the grandkids, hope it works this time...here goes!!!!

I couldn't find the pics I needed, check in later!!!

Well, went to the doctor today and it looks like I have a "baker's cyst" on the back of my knee. After painting at Jon and Erica's new house, I have been experiencing pain and swelling from the knee down. So I will have an ultra sound in two weeks and if the diagnosis is the above, then I will have surgery to remove it.

The sad news is this...it is caused by OLD AGE!
